Overview

Rio PCH is comprised of two Hydro Power Plants located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: SHP Pirapeting and SHP Pedra do Garrafão. Both power plants were Commissioned in 2009.

SHP Pirapetinga has 2 Francis horizontal turbines totaling 20.0 MW of installed capacity. SHP Pedra do Garrafão has 19 MW distributed in 2 Francis vertical turbines.
