CONTOURGLOBAL COMMENCES TENDER OFFER FOR ANY AND ALL OF ITS 7.125% SENIOR SECURED NOTES DUE 2019

June 6, 2016 – Luxembourg: ContourGlobal Power Holdings S.A. (the “Issuer”) today announced
that it has commenced a cash tender offer (the “Tender Offer”) for any and all of its outstanding
7.125% senior secured notes due 2019 (the “Notes”).

The Tender Offer is scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, June 14, 2016, unless
extended or earlier terminated (such time, as may be extended, the “Expiration Time”). Holders
who validly tender the Notes prior to the Expiration Time will be eligible to receive $1,037.51 for
each $1,000 principal amount of Notes, plus any accrued and unpaid interest up to, but
excluding, the settlement date.

Tendered Notes may be withdrawn at any time on or prior to the Expiration Time. Completion
of the Tender Offer is subject to certain market and other conditions, including the
consummation of one or more debt financing transactions. Settlement of the Tender Offer will
occur promptly after the Expiration Time, unless earlier terminated, which is expected to be
June 17, 2016.

The Issuer intends to deliver a notice of redemption in order to redeem any Notes outstanding
following the consummation of the Tender Offer.
